Shri Nidhu Saxena
Shri Nidhu Saxena started his banking career at Bank of Baroda and later moved to UCO Bank. Shri Nidhu Saxena has over 26 years of experience working in diversified areas of banking.
Prior to joining Bank of Maharashtra, he was the Executive Director of Union Bank of India.
During his tenure, he worked in all key banking functions and has been in several positions such as Branch Head, Zonal Head and Vertical Head.
At Union Bank, he was looking after Treasury, Domestic Foreign Business, International Banking, Human Resources, Stressed Assets, Retail Assets, MSME, Retail Liabilities, CISO, Wealth Management and Audit Verticals.
He has been on the Board of Union Bank of India (UK) Limited and Union Asset Management Company Limited and has also been a member of the Academic Council of National Institute of Bank Management, Pune and Governing Body of Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati.
He has also been identified as a ‘Subject Expert’ for assisting Union Public Service Commission. He also has experience of 8 years in corporate sector before starting his banking career.

Shri Asheesh Pandey has a progressive professional career spanning more than 26 years and over these years have handled a diversified portfolio ranging from Credit, Credit Monitoring, Treasury & Merchant Banking, Foreign Transactions & Joint Ventures, Marketing & Customer Relationships and Banking Operations.
Shri Pandey is a Mechanical Engineer (Hons) with Post Graduation in Management (Hons) with specialisation in Finance & Marketing. He is Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers also holds NSE Certification in Insurance (both Life & Non-Life), Mutual Funds & De-mat Operations. Shri Pandey also undertook Executive Leadership Course and is an alumnus of IIM, Bangalore. He has done Online Education Program in Strategic Digital Marketing & Analytics, IIM Rohtak. He also underwent Directors Development Program 2023 by Egon Zehnder in collaboration with Harward Business Publishing.
Shri Pandey started banking career from Corporation Bank at its Industrial Finance Branch, Mumbai and later served at its Investment & International Banking Division, Mumbai. During the initial years of his career at Union Bank of India, he was project manager of the team that established Bank’s Insurance and Mutual Fund business.
He has, further, worked at Bank’s Industrial Finance Branch, Mumbai and then headed SARAL (Specialised Credit Processing Cell) of the Bank at Mumbai before taking over as Head of the Chairman’s Secretariat of the Bank. With career progression, he led Rajasthan State as Regional Head (Deputy General Manager), Jaipur and catered all businesses with all round performance.
On his elevation to the post of General Manager, he took up the role as Head of Credit Monitoring and Restructuring Department of the Bank during which the department had a complete overhaul in terms of monitoring & management of bank’s credit portfolio by deploying data analytics, various novel tools like Predictive Modelling, Robotic Process Automation and Machine Learning.
Shri Pandey, on his elevation as Chief General Manager, took up the challenging role as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the amalgamated entity during which the various process re-engineering, harmonisation, automation and digitisation taken place. During the period he led the team implementing novel technological concepts like Whatsapp Banking, e-Nomination, Online Death Claim Settlement Portal, Cheque Book Tracking, Churn Model (Predictive Analysis for CASA Dormancy), Video KYC, Robotic Process Automation in many operational processes, Implementation of Door Step Banking, Digital Document Execution, Digi Connect Branches (Digital & Cashless), My Diary Portal (Bank’s Intranet Portal for all data needs), Positive Pay System, Automated 360 Degree Account Statement along with many others.
Shri Pandey has been a key constituent in the bank’s leadership team that led the recent amalgamation as well as digitisation exercise in the bank.
He was also earlier Nominee Director on the Board of PSB Alliance Pvt. Ltd. floated by IBA with select Public Sector Banks.
Shri Asheesh Pandey joined as Executive Director in Bank of Maharashtra on 31.12.2021. At present he is also the Chairman of The Maharashtra Executor & Trustee Co. Ltd., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of Maharashtra.

Shri Rohit Rishi is a B. Tech (Textiles), MBA (Finance), CAIIB. He has also completed Certificate Programme in IT and Cyber Security.
He started his banking career as Industrial Development Officer on 05.07.1995 and has over 28 years of experience working in diversified areas of banking. During his tenure, he worked in all key banking functions in various capacities mainly in Credit Management throughout his career such as Industrial Development Office, AGM MSME/ Corporate Office, Indian Bank, Chennai, Head of Bank's flagship branch in New Delhi; DGM (Corporate Branch, New Delhi), FGM at Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. As General Manager he took active part in amalgamation of Allahabad Bank into Indian Bank.
His key achievements include: Mobilization and monitoring of Corporate Credit with average branch business to the tune of. Rs. 11000 Crore Overall business development, monitoring and branch administration of the largest Branch of the Bank, with total business of around Rs. 25,000 crore. Policy formation for growth and monitoring of MSME & Mid Corporate sector, Product development, setting up of MSME & Mid Corporate Vertical, achievement of RBI/ GOI target in MSME Sector. Turnaround of Mid Corporate Vertical Spearheading RAM and CASA growth along with NPA Recovery in FGM spans.
As a vivid learner, he has attended various training programmes and workshops at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, NIBM Pune, IIM Bengaluru (conducted by FSIB), EDI, Ahmedabad.
Shri Rohit Rishi joined Bank of Maharashtra as Executive Director on 1st November 2023.

Dr Abhijit Phukon
Dr. Abhijit Phukon is an officer of Indian Economic Service (IES 2004 batch), presently serving as Economic Adviser and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He is also Government Nominee Director in the Board of India Exim Bank.
Academically, he holds PhD in Finance, Master in Economics, and Post Graduate Diploma in HRD & Marketing. He published a number of research papers on various issues related to economics, management and finance in internationally reputed Journals.
Professionally, he brings in over twenty years academic, research and cross-cutting governance experience in public policy. He brings in domain knowledge and expertise in sustainable finance, CSR/SDGs/ESG, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance, energy & power sector, infrastructure & Public Private Partnership (PPP), international trade etc.
Prior to DFS, he served Department of Commerce, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Corporate Affairs at various capacities including as Secretary, National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA). While being in service in the Government, he instituted large scale reforms and policy frameworks in the economic and social sectors.

Shri Sanjeev Prakash
Shri Sanjeev Prakash joined Reserve Bank of India in 1998. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers(CAIIB) & Financial Risk Manager(FRM) qualifications.
Over the past 25 years in Reserve Bank, Shri Prakash has worked at various Regional Offices and the Bank’s Central Office in Mumbai. His main areas of work in the Bank include supervision of banks, non-banks & financial conglomerates; Human Resources Management; Information Technology & Project implementation. Shri Prakash has also served as Executive Assistant to Deputy Governors.
He was briefly deputed to the Financial Stability Institute at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Basel, Switzerland where he worked on identification of Global Systemically Important Banks.
At present, Shri Prakash is working as Chief General Manager in the Department of Currency Management at Bank’s Central Office in Mumbai. As part of policy making initiatives for efficient currency management operations, he is mainly responsible for facilitating exchange of currency and distribution of coins, disposal of soiled notes, smooth operations of currency chests and forged note vigilance.
He also serves as a Director on the Board of SPMCIL as RBI’s nominee.
