Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM)

Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) was launched on 3 June, 2011. It has a mandate to reach out to 8-10 crore rural poor households spread across 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats in the country. Thereafter, the programme was revamped and named Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission on Dec. 2015.

Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) has been constituted by the Government of Maharashtra with an objective to enhance social and economic empowerment of the rural poor in Maharashtra through development of their self-sustained & community managed institutions.

Sahityaratna Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Development Corporation (LASDC)

Government of Maharashtra established The Sahityaratna Lokshahir Anna Bhau Sathe Dev. Corporation under the control of Social Justice Department under the provision of the Companies Act 1956 (1) on date 11th July 1985 with the objective of raising the standard of living of member of the Matang Community living below poverty line in Maharashtra State securing to them a place of respect in the main stream of society & assisting them in their educational, economic & social redevelopment.

Maharashtra State OBC Finance and Development Corporation Limited.

The corporation has been established under the Government Resolution of 25th September 1998 and on 23.04.1999, the corporation has started functioning under the Companies Act, 1956. The corporation has been entrusted with the task of financial assistance for the overall development of other backward classes in the state and for the business of doing it.

Sant Rohidas Leather Industries and Charmakar Development Corporation Ltd. (LIDCOM)

LIDCOM is established to promote and boost the Leather Industry and people engaged in Leather Industry of the Maharashtra State. It has four production centres in Maharashtra State located at Amaravati (Daryapur), Hingoli, Kolhapur and Satara. Products like Computer bags, briefcases, purses, shoes, sandals, etc. are produced through commercial centers of the corporation.

Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation Ltd.

Government of Maharashtra has set up Mahatma Phule Mahamandal on 10th July, 1978 under the Companies Act, 1956 with the objective of providing financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste and Navabouad people for self-employment. These corporations work under the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department of the Government of Maharashtra.

Vasantrao Naik Vimukta Jatis & Nomadic Tribes Dev. Corp. Ltd. Mumbai.

This corporation is established by the Govt. of Maharashtra as a Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 for economic upliftment of the persons belonging to Vimukta Jatis & Nomadic Tribes on 8thFebruary, 1984. The Government of Maharashtra has nominated this Corporation as a State Channelizing Agency of National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (N.B.C.F.D.C.), New Delhi. It is also a channeling agency of Government of Maharashtra to provide loan to people of Special Backward Class. The role of this Corporation is economic upliftment of the persons belonging to Vimukta Jatis & Nomadic Tribes by giving loan to this people on concessional rate.

Prime Minister’s Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP)

The scheme is implemented by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) functioning as the nodal agency at the national level. At the state level, the scheme is implemented through State KVIC Directorates, State Khadi and Village Industries Boards (KVIBs), District Industries Centres (DICs) and banks. In such cases KVIC routes government subsidy through designated banks for eventual disbursal to the beneficiaries / entrepreneurs directly into their bank accounts.

Chief Ministers Employment Guarantee Programme (CMEGP)

Government of Maharashtra has launched a new employment-generation programme (Chief Minister Employment Generation Program) targeting unemployed youth. The scheme shall cover manufacturing as well as service sector units. The Industries Department of Government of Maharashtra shall be the nodal agency for implementing the scheme. Under the scheme eligible persons aged between 18 and 45 years will be trained and promoted for self-employment for which equity to be converted into back end subsidy, which will be provided by State Government against bank loans. The project cost will be upto a maximum of Rs.50 lakh under manufacturing sector and Rs.10 lakh under business/ service sector. State Government will provide budgetary support through scheme expenditure and if necessary in proportion of beneficiaries from Special Component Plan (SCP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) and Women and Child Development Department. The scheme shall be implemented through Directorate of Industries and Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB).

The creation of Shabari Tribal Finance and Development Corporation has been done to provide seed capital and loan to tribals. This corporation provides tribal loans for different businesses.

Annasaheb Patil Arthik Magas Vikas Mahamandal Maryadit

In the year 2000, the Maharashtra State Government has taken the responsibility of providing funds to the educated unemployed youth for self-employment scheme as per the policy declared in respect to employment and self-employment. The objectives of the self-employment schemes and their success depends on the selection of the beneficiary. The purpose of the employment and self-employment schemes is not only for the foreseeable future but for the benefit of the beneficiaries, the scheme is easy and transparent.

In view of this, the Government of Maharashtra has encouraged self-employed candidates for self-employment and loans are made available through Mahamandal under the various departments of the Government of Maharashtra, in view of encouraging unemployed candidates for self-employment. To reduce the intensity of unemployment in the state, the Maharashtra government has started various self-employment schemes. In this context, the self-employment web portal has been developed to make it easy and quick for the transparency and effective implementation of self-employment loan schemes by providing loans for the self-employment of the candidates.
