Attention NRI Customers

Declarations for FATCA/CRS :

Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is a US Law that requires US citizens/residents to report their non-US financial accounts to the US Govt. Likewise CRS is for accounts of citizens/residents other than US.

Reporting under FATCA/ CRS requires that due diligence be completed in case of accounts with indicia (address, domicile, contact number, etc.) other than India. Due diligence can be completed by submission of self-certification by way of Declaration to your Branch.

Formats of Declarations for FATCA & CRS : Form I is for individual account holders and Form II is for non- individual account holders. NRIs are required to download the relevant Form and send the duly filled and signed Form by post to your Branch for updation preferably by 31st October, 2017. Scanned copy of the duly completed Form may be sent by mail to the Branch as Advance Copy. Failure to submit the Form may result in the account being stopped till submission of the Declaration. Besides, the account holder will not be able to open an NR FD until submission of the Declaration.
